   We booked the hotel St Martin for a four night break xmas week and stayed over new Years eve. The Hotel is in a great part of town has good car parking and is easily accessible for the town centre and the ski Lifts and Ski passes etc. Aprica is a great Ski resort for families with young Kids, its good Skiing and snowboarding, safe, friendly and has good levels of ski schools. Ski passes are reasonably priced too. We were the only English tourists in the resort , as it is very popular with Italians from Milan, which we were happy with, but not much English was spoken generally in the bars etc so take a good phrase book with you. Everywhere in the resort is easy to get to on foot and there are lots of lovely restaurants and bars very close to the hotel serving lunches and evening meals. The Hotel is what it is, a modern 3 star purpose built good value Italian hotel, but it has been made very cosy by the owners, is spotlessly clean , is functional for skiing with families with a large ski store in the basement. The rooms are very basic and minimalist, but beds are comfortable, the restaurant and commumnal areas are homely, the breakfasts were good, the lunches were delicious and good value and we had a gourmet 10 course meal on New Years eve which was really excellent. Gino the owner and Chef knows how to make a really good pasta, he can speak good English and is very charming. The waiting staff were very friendly and pleasant and nothing was too much trouble. All of this helped to make our stay just about perfect I would say. The Firework displays on New Years Eve in Aprica are worth traveling there for alone and were spectacular. We will definitely stay here again and return to Aprica for Skiing and more to the point the Apres Ski. The Devlin Family. England. 07/01/2012

   Very friendly and helpful staff made the stay a pleasure.

   The room/bathroom could have been a bit more modern but overall ok
