The rooms were good and had wonderful views. The food was good.

The problem for two elderly ladies was walking up the steep road to the rooms and getting to and from Forio and other parts of the Island. The hotel offers free transport but the advertising did not say 'as and when they can fit it in' and the notes in the room say that they offer free transport to Negombo which at first they denied. We felt that they wanted to please us but were very tired st the end of the season and our demands were rather difficult for them. However they did make an effort to help us.

The description does not correspond truly:
-in the description it is said that it is located at the foot of Mount Epomeo which is completely wrong and yet that was the reason why I chose this particular B&B.
- they do not say that to have access to the rooms you have to go up a very, very steep path ! I don't think old and unfit people can go up.
-it is said that the restaurant is opened for breakfast, lunch and dinner. When you arrive they say that it can be opened for lunch prior with arrangement with the owners. One day I wanted to have lunch there and I felt that I was not at all welcome! Although in the end I had lunch there. But it is that feeling which makes you feel quite uncomfortable.

Very friendly and helpful owners and managers. Great value. Beautiful views from the terrace and very nice breakfast.

Very steep hill to get to rooms from road. Fine if you have a car. Local bus service is very erratic. Great place to stay if you have a car.

The food was fine and the room was comfortable and clean. The owner and the staff were helpful. When we comlained there is not salami or ham for breakfast we got at once.

It wasn't so easy to get up to the mountain area. The breakfast was imperfect. The garden was unsettled, the pool looks much bigger in the photo, actually it was for children, we didn't see jakuzzi.
